TGA: Background and Fee Structures
gillassociates.com was founded by Trevor Gill in 1996.
Previous to
this Trevor worked in senior management positions for a number of
voluntary
organisations in London and Northern Ireland including a 10 year
period as
Senior Fundraising Manager of a Northern Ireland mental health consortium
and a spell as the senior staff member of a London based charity
and grant
making trust for homeless people. In all Trevor has over 20 years
experience of working in the not for profit sector.
Trevor's
academic and professional qualifications include an undergraduate
Bachelor in Education from Queen's University Belfast and a Master
of Arts in Marketing from the University of Ulster.
He has served on the management committee
of
the Institute of Fundraising's Northern Ireland branch as well as acting as a
guest speaker at three of the Institute's Annual Conferences and
leading a number
of fundraising workshops for Institute members. Trevor received
a Millennium Fellowship Award in 2002. In addition to his work in
managing TGA, he is a Grants Assessor for a number of major grant
awarding bodies.
TGA clients have included Barnardo's Northern Ireland, the Scout
Association NI Scout Council, the Simon Community Northern Ireland,
the
Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health and PAPA, Northern
Ireland's
Autism Charity. TGA clients range from large regional organisations
to
smaller, local community and church based organisations. In 2003,
Trevor
and local consultant Alice Garrad founded 'Training People' - a consultancy
providing top quality training in fundraising and personal development
issues for not for profit organisations.
TGA fees are negotiable and can be organised on an hourly basis,
a 'per
project' basis or through a retainer contract system. TGA fees are
highly
competitive!
